The attack took place in Columbia County around 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17 in the city of Hudson. Child Celebrating Halloween Hit By Car Near Diner In Hudson Valley An area child who was out celebrating Halloween was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31, when the 4-year-old child was crossing a busy roadway near the Plaza Diner in the Town of Greenport with his mother.
