ID Released For NY Woman Among 3 Killed In Washington State Avalanche A 60-year-old New York woman who was among three climbers killed in an avalanche in Washington State has now been identified. The incident happened Sunday afternoon, Feb. 19, in the central Cascade Mountains near Colchuck Lake, located 70 miles east of Seattle, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
