ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two people were injured in a traffic crash around 8 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of New Hempstead Road and Summit Park Road, according to the Ramapo Police.
One of the victims was suffering from chest pains and the other received minor facial lacerations, both were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance, police said.
The power box to the traffic light was also damaged during the crash, causing it to quit working. The light was repaired by Verdi Electric.
