Suffern Police Step Up Traffic Enforcement Efforts

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Suffern police made a number of arrests recently while placing an increased focus on vehicle and traffic enforcement, according to police.

Village police arrested two men on Thursday, Jan. 14, according to police.

A 33-year-old Spring Valley man was arrested after he was pulled over on Route 202 for a traffic violation and found to have been driving with a suspended license, according to police.

A 50-year-old Washingtonville man also was arrested Thursday on Lafayette Avenue, where he was driving with a suspended registration, police said.

Authorities said several other arrests were made during the week of increased focus, but provided no further details.
