Juan Chileseo-Vega was charged with kidnapping, carjacking, armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for his part in the carjacking that left a cabdriver with multiple injuries after being dumped out of the taxi, police said.

After picking up Chileseo-Vega's crew in Paterson, N.J., the driver was pistol-whipped and stabbed in the neck and left in Orange County, police said.

Police discovered that two of the suspects lived in Suffern, arresting one in Mahwah earlier this week, along with Chileseo-Vega's arrest on Brook Street on Thursday night, police said.

He was held in the Suffern jail and will be transferred to the Rockland County Jail before extradition to New Jersey, police said.
