SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. – A Spring Valley teenager was sentenced to six months of weekends in jail and five years of probation after being convicted of assault and robbery, according to lohud.com.
Christopher Bermeo, 17, was convicted of second-degree assault for stabbing a classmate in March 2015 and second-degree robbery for beating a teen and stealing his sneakers in December 2014, lohud.com noted.
Prosecutors also said Bermeo will also have to complete a Partnership for Safe and Healthy Youth program, reported lohud.com.
His conviction was sealed due to being a youthful offender, lohud.com noted.
