Rockland Man Charged With Hitting 12-Year-Old Son In Face

STONY POINT, N.Y. - A Stony Point man was arrested on several charges including assault and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly hit his 12-year-old son in the face Thursday.

An investigation into a domestic violence incident revealed that Jing Wang, 37, had intentionally struck his son in the face with a closed fist, causing injury, according to Stony Point Lt. Keith Williams. The incident occurred on July 7.

Wang was charged with assault in the third degree, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction breathing, and harassment in the second degree.

He was processed and is being held at the Stony Point Police Department awaiting arraignment.
