Ramapo Police Resolve Domestic Dispute As Part Of Busy Saturday

RAMAPO, N.J. – Ramapo police had a busy Saturday, including an early-morning domestic dispute on East Hickory Street.

A call came in from a Hillcrest resident reporting that he heard a woman screaming about 12:15 a.m., and when officers checked the area, they found out about a dispute between a man and a woman, who had left the area, police said.

The 26-year old woman was eventually found and charged with third-degree criminal mischief after breaking numerous windows, police said.

Seven car accidents, nine medical emergencies and four other arrests were also part of the Ramapo police blotter on Saturday, police said.

The arrests included one for unlawful possession of marijuana, one for soliciting without a permit, and another for two vehicle and traffic misdemeanors, police said.
