Ramapo Police Arrest Party Host On Noise Charges

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police ticketed a local woman after neighbors complained about a loud party at her Chestnut Ridge Road house early Sunday, police said.

The party host had received a warning but was arrested later for violating the local noise ordinance after apparently not complying, police said.

Police also investigated a number of vehicle accidents.

They were located at Maple Terrace in Monsey; Route 306 in New Hempstead; North Airmont Road in Montebello; and Montebello Road in Montebello.

Police also answered 99 calls for service, including four arrests: the noisy party; harassment charge stemming from a domestic dispute; vehicle and traffic misdemeanors; and third-degree assault in Sloatsburg.
