The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. when an officer stopped the woman at the Sloatsburg Post Office for driving with no tail lights in an erratic manner, police said.

As the officer interviewed the woman, she began to drive away, causing the officer to reach inside the car and remove the keys, police said.

While the officer was checking the woman's driver's paperwork, she took out a second set of keys and attempted to drive away again, only this time she backed into the officer's car, police said.

There were no injuries, and the damage to the vehicles was very minor. The woman was arrested and charged with DWI, police added.

She was then released with a future court date returnable to the Village of Sloatsburg Justice Court.
