Police Say Suffern Officer Violated Order Of Protection

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A Suffern police officer out on injury leave has been accused of violating an order of protection, according to News 12 Westchester.

Lance Weinstein, an officer with more than 20 years of experience, was arrested early Thursday, Feb, 4, after he was accused of violating an order of protection that prohibited him from contact with his ex-wife, according to News 12.

Weinstein, who has been on out injury since 2014, is to answer to the charge on Feb. 16.
