ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Spring Valley late Friday afternoon.
At approximately 5:18 p.m., Ramapo Police officers responded to the area of 59 East Eckerson Road where they determined that a 67-year-old man was struck by a 1994 Toyota which was being operated by a 71-year-old male.
The pedestrian suffered a leg injury and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance. The driver of the Toyota remained on scene and cooperated in the investigation. No tickets were issued.
