One Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash In Airmont Shopping Center

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Emergency responders and Ramapo Police officers rushed to the scene of a two-car crash on Friday in a shopping center at the intersection of Route 59 and Brookside Avenue in the Village of Airmont.

One occupant was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, according to Ramapo Police.

It was initially reported that one of the vehicle's occupants would need to be extricated by the fire department, but upon the officers' arrival, it was discovered that extrication would not be necessary, Ramapo Police said.

Ramapo PD officers were assisted by the Tallman Fire Department and the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps.
