No One Injured In Spring Valley Suspicious Fire Incident

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Two cars were destroyed in a fire early Monday, Nov. 16, in what authorities are calling a suspicious incident, according to lohud.com.

Flames engulfed both vehicles, a 2004 Ford and 1993 Chevrolet parked in the driveway of a Ridge Avenue home when police arrived, said Spring Valley Detective Robert Bookstein, added lohud.com.

Police said the cars were parked near a large amount of brush and bags of leaves that were also burning and that side of the house was damaged during the incident, reported lohud.com.

Spring Valley volunteer firefighters put out the fire; three residents were not injured, said lohud.com.

The Rockland Sheriff's Office fire unit is investigating the incident, added lohud.com.
