ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ramapo police found a loaded handgun and marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday in the Hillcrest area of town, police said.
Three Spring Valley men were in the vehicle when stopped by the Ramapo officer, who located the handgun and pot, police said.
A 27-year-old Spring Valley man was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $20,000 bail, police said.
Also arrested was a 25-year-old Spring Valley man and an 18-year-old Spring Valley man, both were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The 25-year-old is being held on $5,000 bail at the Rockland County Jail, and the 18-year-old is being held on $1,500 bail.
