SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Suffern resident Mark Garrison died on Monday, Feb. 1. He was 55.
He was born in Suffern on Jan. 15, 1961 to Joseph and Jeannette Hoyt Garrison/
Garrison was the owner of Mark Garrison Contracting. Most recently, he was employed at Hatzel & Buehler with his brother, Michael.
He married Dina Pellicano Marshall, in 2001.
Garrison is survived by his children, Doug and Chrissy Marshall, Krista and Nick Tomenelli, and Matthew and Grace Garrison; grandchildren Anthony, Alexander and Dominick; siblings Joe, Cathi, Michael, Donna, David and Doreen Garrison, Renee and Anthony Savoia, and Cheryl and David Chien.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, and from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at the George M. Holt Funeral Home, 50 New Main St., in Haverstraw.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. Peter’s and St. Mary’s Church, 115 Broadway, in Haverstraw. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5468 Route 9W, in Newburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Parish of St. Mary and St. James, 71 Grand St., Marlboro, NY 12542.
