ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Early morning commuters were stuck Tuesday in a traffic jam on the New York State Thruway just before the Tappan Zee Bridge in Rockland County, according to multiple reports.
A water main break and an auto accident about 6:30 a.m. blocked the southbound lanes of the Interstate 87, lohud reported.
The jam, which also spread to alternate roads like Routes 9W and 59, was cleared by 8 a.m., according to reports.
