A seven-month-old Havanese named Luna that was last seen on Wayne Avenue in Suffern on July 4 was reunited with its owner.

Police Tweeted a link to its Facebook post about the pup, which was shared over 200 times.

The friendly eight-pounder was picked up by her owner just 24 hours after wandering off, after being recognized by the Facebook posts.

Police officer Mike Careswell let Luna ride shotgun until her owner was contacted.
