State Sen. Carlucci Distributes Holiday Bags To Students

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- State Sen. David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester), along with local community group Advocating for Change, distributed more than 100 Thanksgiving holiday bags to students in need on Monday, Nov. 23, between 9-11 a.m.

The bags included an assortment of canned mashed potatoes, cranberries, vegetables, stuffing, cake mix with frosting, corn bread mix, macaroni and cheese and a gift card for purchasing a turkey.

The schools Carlucci visited included Lime Kiln Elementary in Suffern; Grandview Elementary in Monsey; and Ramapo High School, Hempstead Elementary and Kakiat Elementary in Spring Valley.
