Downed Trees, Power Lines Close Route 202 In Ramapo

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Route 202 in Ramapo near Sky Meadow Road is closed in both directions as a result of toppled trees and downed power lines on Monday morning. 

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area, and for residents to use caution when venturing out. 

Rain began ending after the morning commute Monday. There is a chance of showers between 10 a.m. and noon and then gradual clearing through the afternoon with a high around 54 degrees. A wind advisory remains in effect until 2 p.m.
