The call for an investigation was quickly countered by Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski of New City, who says that while anti-Semitism should be fought at all costs, Hikind's statements were outrageous and the issue has been resolved, said lohud.com.
The Clarkstown schools superintendent and Clarkstown South High School principal have apologized for showing the video. Rockland County Executive Ed Day was also unhappy with Hikind's comments, calling them "an outrage," added lohud.com.
