The village Board of Trustees meeting was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Tuesday, said News 12.

The registry allows locals to add their names to it and requires peddlers to check it before they knock on someone's door, said News 12.

Solicitors could face fines if they don't comply, according to the report.
