Fifth-Graders Graduate From Ramapo Police DARE Program

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- More than 150 smiling fifth graders graduated from the DARE program Tuesday at Kakiat Elementary School in Spring Valley, hosted by the Ramapo Police Department.

 The enthusiastic students were presented with certificates and recognition for completing the DARE program. DARE Officer Danny Lynch, who runs the program for the police department, was impressed with the student involvement. 

Darren the DARE Lion was also on hand to assist Lynch and Chief Brad Weidel with the ceremony.
