Thunderstorms Will Accompany Heat, Humidity In Putnam

PUTNAM, N.Y. -- Thunderstorms and showers are expected to arrive in parts of the area Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Some of the showers could produce heavy rain and temperatures are expected to hit a high of 86.

It will be more of the same tonight, with temperatures dropping to around 67.

There will be a chance of thunderstorms Thursday after 2 p.m. and some could produce heavy rains, the weather service said. It will be cloudy with a high near 77.
