There was gridlock during much of the morning commute on eastbound I-84 on Tuesday following a serious crash that blocked both lanes for more than an hour.
The crash, at the intersection of I-684, resulted in stopped traffic at the scene, with only the shoulder open, and delays stretching back miles at 7:30 p.m.
There were also delays on the southbound Taconic State Parkway as a result of patchy fog between Route 202/Route 35/Crompond Road and Franklin D Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown.
