The murder took place in Orange County on Thursday, Sept. 29, in the City of Newburgh. City of Newburgh Police Commissioner Jose Gomerez announced Tuesday, Nov. 22 that Lamont Williams, age 29, no known address, was arrested in North Carolina following a months-long investigation. The shooting took place in Orange County around 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29 in the city of Newburgh. It happened in Orange County around 1:30 a.m., Saturday, July 23 in Newburgh, on Liberty Street. According to Newburgh Police, officers responded to the area of 79 Liberty St. for a Shotspotter report of five shots fired. Less than a minute later the department received another report of rounds fired on Washington Street, police said. Local residents facing charges include:  Ulster County On Jan. 3, State Police in Ellenville arrested Lizette Andino, 31 of Napanoch, for DWAI Drugs.
