Man Nabbed With Semi-Automatic Gun At Train Station In Westchester, Police Say A Westchester man has been accused of having a gun while at an area train station. Menfil M. Barrios, age 44, of New Rochelle, was arrested on Tuesday, July 27, after the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department received a 911 call of a man with a gun at the Mamaroneck Train Station. Officers and detectives responded and conducted a search of the area. Barrios was located and detained by officers while a further investigation was conducted, said Mamaroneck PD Lt. Mark Gatta. One Dead, Two Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Utility Pole In Westchester One person was killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Westchester and the vehicle burst into flames. The incident took place around 2:37 a.m., Sunday, April 11, in front of 1395 West Boston Post Road in the town of Mamaroneck. Man, 23, In Stolen Vehicle Caught After 12-Mile I-684 Chase, Police Say A 23-year-old man driving a stolen vehicle is behind bars after taking state troopers on a 12-mile chase on I-684. It started at around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.  At approximately 1:50 a.m., troopers patrolling I-684 in the town of Bedford initiated a traffic stop on a northbound taxi for an infraction of the vehicle and traffic law.  The operator of the 2019 Toyota Camry, identified as Begnauth Renseroop, of Queens, failed to comply, and led troopers on the chase, state police said.
