Fatal-Hit Run Crash: Female Suspect Nabbed After SUV Strikes Woman In Region A female suspect who fled the scene has been apprehended after a woman who was struck by an SUV on a busy roadway in the region died, according to authorities. The incident happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in Dutchess County on Merritt Boulevard near Vanderbilt Way in the town of Fishkill. The crash was reported to the state police at approximately 10:10 a.m. Saturday.
