Patterson Man Wanted For Hit-Run CT Crash Nabbed In Putnam Traffic Stop A 32-year-old man wanted for a hit-and-run crash was arrested during a routine traffic stop. Marcellus Ferrell, 32, of Patterson, was apprehended on Saturday, Feb. 8, when stopped by Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Osika for a traffic violation, said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. During the stop, Osika ran a check of the driver’s license and found that Ferrell was wanted for the hit-and-run involving serious injury or death in Connecticut, the department said. Deputies responded to a Putnam 911 dispatch regarding an auto accident in the area of State Route 6 and Stoneleigh Avenue in the Town of Carmel on Friday, Feb. 15 around 9 p.m. Further investigation revealed that one of the drivers involved in the accident, identified as 52-year-old Lisa Laureano of Southeast, was allegedly intoxicated. Man Nabbed For Prostitution, Drug Charges In Putnam Putnam County Sheriff's deputies nabbed a man for prostitution and drug charges following a traffic stop where he had two young women in the car. Carmel Man, 22, Nabbed For Selling Illegal Prescription Drugs In Putnam A 22-year-old Carmel man was arrested in Putnam County after selling pills to an undercover deputy, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. Jamie J. Mclean was arrested Thursday, Jan. 11, by a deputy with the Narcotics Enforcement Unit after he developed information that Mclean was involved in the sale of prescription drugs, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. The deputy was able to make contact with Mclean and arrange for the purchase of prescription medication (Suboxone) on several occasions, the department said.
