Hudson Valley Woman Accused Of Setting House On Fire A Hudson Valley woman has been arrested for allegedly setting a house on fire that displaced a family. The Rockland County incident took place on Wednesday at a home in the village of Airmont. ID Released For Man Killed In ATV Accident A man found dead beside an ATV in Harriman State Park by a father and his children, also riding an ATV, has been identified by police. Andrew Columbia, 58, of Suffern, was found around noon on Sunday, Jan. 12, on Regis Court in Suffern, according to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police. The only access point into the woods for first responders was behind 8 Regis Court in the Village of Montebello. Three people found unconscious by a family member in a home in the village of Airmont are still hospitalized. The incident took place around 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, when the Ramapo Police Department responded to the home at 4 Bolger Lane in Airmont, said Ramapo Police Lt. Chris Franklin. Once on the scene, four officers and EMS personnel found three female residents, ages 14, 16, and 54. One Critical Following Head-On Garbage Truck Crash Police are investigating a serious head-on crash on Route 59 in Hillburn that took place early in the morning The crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 when a northbound garbage truck swerved into the southbound lane of Route 59 striking a small sedan head-on, Ramapo Police said. The truck pushed the car into a parking lot adjacent to Route 59.  The sedan's driver, of Warwick, was extricated by Tallman, Hillburn and Suffern Fire departments.
