Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Senior Housing Complex In Northern Westchester A three-alarm fire destroyed a senior housing complex under construction in Northern Westchester. The blaze, which was so intense it required some 100 firefighters, was reported around 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at 1847 Crompond Road, in Peekskill.  The Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, who also responded to the fire, said the fire was so intense and massive that embers from it were found throughout various areas of the city, including melting some items in a neighbor's yard.  At the same time, the department was receiving multiple 911 calls to report the blaze and from residents concerne…
