17-Year-Old Nabbed For Shooting Of Another Teen In Area A Hudson Valley 17-year-old has been arrested for allegedly shooting another teen, seriously wounding them. The shooting took place in June in Dutchess County in the city of Beacon at Davies South Terrace apartments. When police arrived on the scene to investigate a complaint of shots fired, they were informed that a gunshot victim had been located at the Bridge Inn boarding house on Route 9D in Beacon, said the Beacon Police. Man, Juvenile Nabbed With Loaded Gun, Marijuana During Hudson Valley Stop, Police Say A 20-year-old man was nabbed with more than 57 grams of marijuana and a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun during a traffic stop by state police. Corey A. Latimer Jr.,  of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, March 12, after troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2002 Honda sedan on Route 9D in the city of Beacon for violations of the vehicle and traffic law, said Trooper AJ Hicks. An investigation found that two occupants, including a 16-year-old juvenile, were found to be in possession of a loaded Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun, and approximately 57.5 grams of marijuana, Hicks said. …

It happened at about 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 in Beacon at the intersection of Route 9D and Main Street. The teen was arrested a short time later after an investigation and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury auto accident as well as numerous other vehicle and traffic citations, Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson of the City of Beacon Police Department said.
