The crash took place in Dutchess County around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7 in the town of Poughkeepsie at the intersection of IBM Road and West Dogwood Drive. An investigation determined that a black Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV driven by a 29-year-old woman struck a 13-year-old boy who was riding an electric scooter, said the town of Poughkeepsie Police.
