K-9 Officer Lex Tracks Down Carmel Domestic Violence Suspect A suspect involved in an alleged violent domestic dispute couldn't outrun a police canine in Putnam County, who tracked him down as he attempted to flee and hide from police in Carmel. Putnam Police Sheriff’s Deputy Vincent Dalo, Sgt. Timothy Keith and K-9 Lex, members of the canine unit, were dispatched to a home in Carmel to offer an assist to the Carmel Police Department, where there was a report of a male suspect who was involved in a violent domestic incident in the area.
