Woman Allegedly Hits Family Member, Destroys Property In Town of Poughkeepsie Domestic Incident A 47-year-old woman is behind bars following a domestic incident in which she allegedly hit a member of the household and damaged property. Peggy V. Langella, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Thursday, April 25, following the domestic incident in which she allegedly caused some $750 in property damage, said  Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber. During the course of the investigation, Langella was also threatening and uncooperative with police, Faber said.
