Man Sentenced For BMW Crash That Killed Hudson Valley Teen, Hurt Boyfriend
The driver of a BMW that crashed on Central Avenue last year and killed 19-year-old Nina Cordero in Yonkers and injured her boyfriend has been sentenced to a term of between three and nine years in state prison. Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter earlier this year, was sentenced on Tuesday, where he faced a maximum term of up to 15 years in state prison for his role in the Aug. 26 fatal crash last year. Man Pleads Guilty In Crash That Killed Westchester Teen, Injured Boyfriend
The driver of a BMW that crashed on Central Avenue last summer has pleaded guilty to his role in the fatal crash that killed 19-year-old Nina Cordero in Yonkers and injured her boyfriend. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Thursday that Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, has pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter for his role in the Aug. 26 crash last year that took the lives of his two passengers when he rolled his BMW M5 while speeding.
