Snowplowing Truck Hits, Kills Woman In Parking Lot In Region A woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck outside an apartment complex in the region. The Greene County incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Coxsackie at the Peppertree Apartments. According to sheriff’s officials, a 66-year-old New Baltimore man was using a pickup truck to plow snow in the building’s parking lot when he struck a woman while backing up. The 70-year-old Coxsackie woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities had not released her identity as of Thursday, Jan. 18. The incident is under investigation.

The Greene County incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, on State Route 9W in the town of New Baltimore, near State Route 144. When troopers arrived, they found 90-year-old Charles Woullard and his 76-year-old wife, Frances, both of the city of Hudson in Columbia County, dead at the scene. Mahopac Woman Drove Drunk With BAC Three Times Legal Limit, Police Say A woman from the Hudson Valley driving erratically was busted with a blood alcohol content more than triple the legal limit during a traffic stop, New York State Police announced. New York State Police received a report of an erratic driver who was traveling northbound on I-87 at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, Troop T Commander Jennifer Gottstine said.
