Hudson Valley Woman Stabs Ex-Partner, Takes Police On Wild Pursuit, Cops Say A Hudson Valley woman is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another woman and then taking state police on a wild pursuit that included going through the backyards of homes. The incident began in Dutchess County on Monday, May 1 on Cady Lane in Wappinger. According to New York State Police, troopers responded to a home on Cady Lane for a domestic incident. The robbery occurred at approximately 11:52 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Trustco Bank on Route 9 near Myers Corners Road in the town of Wappinger, according to state police. An investigation revealed a white man dressed in all black, with a black umbrella, and ski mask entered the bank and threatened the use of an explosive device to gain access to the vault, and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, police said.
