Area Alternative High School To Transfer To College Campus An alternative high school in Westchester will have a new home that will accommodate more students in a larger space thanks to a deal with an area college. The New Rochelle Board of Education announced at its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19 that it has approved the relocation of the Huguenot Academy to space leased at Monroe College’s campus in the city. Police: Peekskill Athlete In Trio Who Cashed Victim's $2,000 Check With Bogus Driver's License A Peekskill athlete was among a trio of accused ID thieves thwarted -- this time by bank employees and police in New Jersey -- after they tried cashing a bogus check for $2,000 using a driver’s license they’d created from an innocent victim’s personal information, authorities said.
