34-Year-Old Killed In I-84 Crash In Hudson Valley A 34-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash in the Hudson Valley after his 2006 Acura RSX ran off the roadway. The collision occurred in Orange County on a stretch of I-84 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in the town of Greenville. New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel said Christopher Martini, from Matamoras, Pennsylvania, was killed when his vehicle ran off the roadway and he was ejected. Troopers begin life-saving measures. Port Jervis EMS pronounced Martini dead on the scene. The incident is still under investigation.

Search Underway For Fisherman Whose Boat Capsized In Hudson Valley River Emergency crews were searching for a missing fisherman in the Hudson Valley Thursday afternoon, Sept. 8. State police and other first responders in Orange County were called at around 7:30 a.m. to an area of the Delaware River in the town of Deerpark with reports of a missing fisherman. Investigators determined that two men had been fishing on the river near Cherry Island State Park when their boat capsized. Pair Caught With 510 Bags Of Heroin In Hudson Valley Stop Two men were busted by State Police troopers with more than 500 bags of heroin during a stop on Route 17 in Orange County overnight. Troopers stopped Matamoras, Pa. resident Jeremy Maun, 33, and Greeley, Pa. resident Christopher Scurto, 25, at approximately midnight on Monday, March 12 in Monroe for equipment violations. During the stop, troopers discovered that the duo were in possession of 510 bags of heroin, which were hidden in the vehicle. Both Maun and Scurto were arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.…
