K-9 Officer Nabs Drunk Brewster Man Who Fled Scene Of Crash A drunk Brewster man was nabbed by a Putnam County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit after leaving the scene of a crash in the Town of  Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. The crash was discovered around 12:20 a.m. Jan. 18, when Deputy Francis McDonough responded to the area of 186 Starr Ridge Road, in the Town of Southeast, on a report of a one-car motor vehicle crash, the Sheriff's Office said.
