Road Reopens After Fatal Crash In Dutchess Update: Slate Quarry Road in the Town of Rhinebeck reopened in both directions early Wednesday night after an ongoing hazmat cleanup after a serious motor vehicle crash. Those traveling through that area were advised to use caution and allow for extra time, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said. The crash occurred in the afternoon, and was a fatality involving a propane truck and a passenger vehicle. No propane leaked from the truck, however a small amount of diesel fuel leaked from its fuel tank and is in the process of being cleaned up, the sheriff's office said. The passenger vehicl…
