New Coyote Sightings Reported In Three Northern Westchester Locales There are some wild new neighbors setting up shop in Westchester. The Mount Pleasant Police Department is reporting several new wild coyote sightings in the area, prompting it to issue an alert to the community. Coyotes were spotted in the area of Warren Avenue and Sherman Avenue in Hawthorne; on Hardscrabble Road in Chappaqua and Choate Lane in Pleasantville. The sightings follow several in New Rochelle, Greenburgh, Eastchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Rockland counties.
