Man Jumps Out Of Window After 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Home In Region A three-alarm fire destroyed a Hudson Valley home and kept firefighters on the scene for more than seven hours. The fire took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at 132 Haddock Road in Monticello. While en route Sullivan Fire was told that a man that had reportedly jumped from a second-floor window had suffered multiple burns. New York Parolee Nabbed In Stolen Car In Area, Police Say A New York man out on parole was busted for allegedly stealing a 2018 Chrysler 300 and "rifling" through other vehicles in the area.  Broome County resident Michael J. Mackawgy, age 24, of Binghamton, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 22 around 11:15 p.m. by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office after deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Man Passed Out In Area Walgreen's Parking Lot In Region Nabbed For DWI/Drugs, Police Say An area man was charged with DWI/drugs after he was allegedly found passed out in the middle of a Walgreen parking in his vehicle with the motor running. Sullivan County resident Jason Roberts, age 32, of Forestburgh, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 22, after Monticello Police received a call about a suspicious vehicle in the Walgreen's parking lot.  According to Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police, when officers arrived, Roberts was awakened by the officer and while being handcuffed, physically struggled with the officer before being taken into custody, Johnstone said.…

One Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash In Area A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed after veering off a  roadway into a tree, according to New York State Police. State Police in Sullivan County responded to the intersection of State Route 42 and King Road in the town of Forestburgh at approximately 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27 after receiving a 911 call alerting them to the crash.  Police then found the victim, New York City resident Mauricio Cruz, of Queens, in a wooded area off the roadway's west shoulder, along with his red 2009 Yamaha R6.
