Caregiver In Area Accused Of Stealing Thousands Of Dollars, Jewelry A woman caring for the elderly in Dutchess County is facing a host of charges after allegedly stealing from the people she was tasked with caring for in Milan. Susan Niekrewicz, of Elizaville, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 10 following an ongoing investigation into the exploitation of vulnerable adults, according to Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Capt.
