Two Men Nabbed For Beating, Attempting To Rob Victim In Town Of Poughkeepsie, Police Say Two men were arrested for allegedly beating up and attempting to rob another man on the Dutchess Turnpike. Robert Brown, 22, and Randy Valladares, 19, both of Poughkeepsie, were nabbed by Town of Poughkeepsie police after a report of an attempted robbery around 1:50 a.m., on Saturday, 15, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Woman Behind Bars After Stabbing Male Acquaintance While Walking In Area A 34-year-old woman is behind bars after a dispute with a male acquaintance turned violent while they were walking on the Dutchess Turnpike in Town of Poughkeepsie, police say. Jolene R. Fassino of Poughkeepsie and the man were involved in a dispute Sunday night, June 24 when she took out a pocket knife she was carrying and stabbed the victim in the left leg, according to Town of Poughkeepsie Police. A passing motorist was flagged down and called 911. The man was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Fassino was charged with second-degree assaul…
