Former Area Priest Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Minor A former Fairfield County priest remains behind bars after turning himself in to police for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. The Rev. Jaime Marin-Cardona, 51, has been charged with three counts of illegal sexual contact, three counts of sexual assault and of risk of injury to a child, said the Diocese of Bridgeport. Priest In Fairfield County Removed For Contact With Minors Policy Violation, Report Says The Rev. Frank Gomez, the head of one of Fairfield County's largest Catholic parishes, has been removed from duty and sent for health treatment for violating the diocese’s policies involving contact with minors, according to the Connecticut Post.
