Gang Member From Area Sentenced For Conspiracy To Murder Witnesses
The last of five members of the G-Shine Bloods gang members and associates have been sentenced for his role in a conspiracy to murder an eyewitness to a shooting, Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah announced. Between August 2018 and March 2019, Rocah said that gang members conspired to silence a witness who set to testify against them in regards to a shooting outside the Garden Bar & Grill in Mount Vernon in 2016. Area Woman Admits To Conspiring To Murder Shooting Witness
A Westchester woman admitted to conspiring to murder an eye witness to a bar shooting. Yonkers resident Laquanna Kershaw, 32, pleaded guilty this week to conspiring to kill an eyewitness to a 2016 Mount Vernon bar shooting, Westchester District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced. Kershaw was a co-defendant of G-Shine Bloods Gang leader Jason Garcia, who was found guilty last month of attempted murder and other charges in the same case. Trial Starts For Westchester Gang Member Who Allegedly Ordered Shooting Witness Be Killed
The trial for a high-ranking gang member connected to a 2016 shooting who attempted to have an eye witness killed is beginning. Jason Garcia - also known as “G-shine” and “Mecca-J” - a high ranking member of the Bloods Gang, allegedly conspired with four others, some of whom were also already in jail, to track down and kill the eyewitness, who they found through social media.
