Pair Of 25-Year-Olds Killed In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash, Police Say Two 25-year-old Fairfield County residents were killed in a crosswalk by an alleged hit-and-run driver. The incident took place in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. The initial investigation revealed that two pedestrians, both 25-year-old Stamford residents, who were believed to be in the crosswalk, were walking westbound across Washington Boulevard at Main Street when they were hit by a 2022 Mercedes, said Sgt. Woman Seriously Injured After Being Run Over By Her Own SUV An investigation is underway after a local woman was seriously injured when her SUV rolled over her in a busy Stamford parking lot. The initial investigation revealed that Anne Wade, a 54-year-old Stamford resident, was entering her vehicle, which was parked in the lot at 15 High Ridge Rd., Stamford Police said.  According to witnesses, Wade was having problems releasing her emergency brake before she exited her vehicle and was then somehow able to get the brake released, according to police.
