Two Putnam Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops Nearly two dozen drivers were busted by New York State Police officers for alleged impaired driving on area roadways this past week. Those charged include: Westchester County On Friday, July 12, State Police from Brewster arrested Ismael Martinez Trinidad, 29, of North Salem, for DWI. He was traveling on Tonetta Lake Road in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Bridge Replacement Work Starts In Area The construction project involving the replacement of two Union Vale bridges is scheduled to begin next week, the Dutchess County Department of Public Works has announced. The bridges, U-27 and U-28 on Bruzgul Road, are located over the Fishkill Creek near the intersection with Clove Valley Road. They are being replaced due to concerns regarding structural deterioration and motorist safety. The project includes the demolition of the current bridges as well as the construction of newer, wider bridges.
